Airport Transportation in New York

A flight into New York can finish in Queens, Newark, Westchester County, or at a private aviation airport in northern New Jersey.

Once you land, we look at much more than the city name on your itinerary when arranging airport transportation in New York. You may be coming home with two suitcases, meeting clients in Manhattan, taking children to a hotel in Brooklyn, or picking up friends ahead of a weekend in SoHo.

In each case, we confirm your meeting option and vehicle before departure, then follow the airport’s current instructions when your plane lands.

Airports We Cover Across the New York Region

The five airports below serve very different passengers, aircraft, and parts of the metropolitan area, which affects airport transportation in NY, especially when your destination is far from the runway you selected.

  • John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK): Ongoing redevelopment can change car-service pickup procedures by terminal. We confirm the applicable meeting instructions for the passenger’s terminal and service date rather than relying on older airport guidance.
  • LaGuardia Airport (LGA): Airline flights currently use Terminals B and C. Car services meet arrivals in Terminal B’s garage, on its second level, and in the inner lane outside Terminal C.
  • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR): The airport serves the region from New Jersey, and passengers with a prearranged booking follow the signs to the ground transportation area after leaving the plane.
  • Westchester County Airport (HPN): It welcomes commercial carriers and private jets, and its full-service FBOs make it useful for both.
  • Teterboro Airport (TEB): No airlines fly there, and the FAA classifies it as a general-aviation reliever. Every arrival goes through an FBO, so include its name with your flight details, because the place where we meet you depends on that operator.

Airport transfers can also continue to destinations in New Jersey or Connecticut when those addresses are part of the reservation.

What Our Service Includes

The anxious part usually starts after touchdown: Where do I go, is someone following my flight, and what happens if the plane lands late?

With our New York airport car service, each of those questions has a clear answer:

  • Flight monitoring: we track the status of your plane and send the chauffeur according to the updated arrival information. A delay does not add a charge.
  • Domestic arrivals: you receive 45 minutes of complimentary wait time.
  • International arrivals: the included period increases to 60 minutes, giving extra time for customs and collecting luggage.
  • Inside Meet & Greet: on request, your chauffeur stands in the baggage claim area holding a sign. This option and airport parking incur additional charges.
  • Curbside meeting: prefer to meet outside? Your instructions identify the exact spot, so you know where to look as you exit.
  • Child seats: infant, toddler, and booster options are available at no additional charge.

These details are especially useful when an executive assistant, parent, or host collecting visitors books the transfer for someone else.

From Baggage Claim to a New York Address

An airport run rarely ends with “Manhattan.” The useful information is the actual place waiting at the other end. For example:

  • Downtown: perhaps you are checking into The Dominick at 246 Spring Street, where SoHo meets Hudson Square.
  • Waterfront: your reservation may instead end across the East River at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, located at 60 Furman Street at Pier 1 in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Both are real destinations, but they end the trip in very different parts of New York.

The occasion can change after check-in too:

  • Friends flying in separately for a bachelor or bachelorette weekend may need one collection at the airport followed by a hotel stop before dinner.
  • Families may have a car seat request and several bags.
  • A business passenger might go directly from the terminal to a Manhattan appointment rather than checking in first.

If several guests need to continue from a hotel to additional New York addresses, we can shuttle the group between those stops once everyone has checked in.

For someone heading straight into a business day, we can arrange the airport-to-first-appointment transfer as its own booking.

That distinction gives the airport reservation one clear job: meet the passenger and complete the requested transfer.

Information We Ask for at Booking

Each request for our NY airport limo service starts with a short list of facts:

  • Flight number, including whether it is international, so the longer complimentary wait applies.
  • Curbside or Meet & Greet, whichever you prefer.
  • The full destination, such as a hotel, residence, office, or another airport.
  • Passenger and luggage counts.
  • Any child-seat request, including infant, toddler, or booster.
  • At least two hours of notice, the minimum advance booking time for this service.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Arrival

Start with who is landing and what they are bringing, not a model name.

  • One person or a couple with carry-on bags can head into Manhattan in our three-seat Mercedes-Benz S 580.
  • We can place a family or a small team in our six-passenger Cadillac Escalade, which adds rear cargo space, depending on how many suitcases come along.
  • When a whole group lands together, we can bring everyone out of the airport in our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van, which has 14 seats.

Reserve Your NY Airport Transportation

At Driven Limo, we work around the clock, so a dawn departure or a midnight arrival gets the same attention on any day of the week.

A recent Google review describes an early-morning trip to the airport: “Used them for an early ride to the airport; they were on time, polite, and the car was pristine!!! Will definitely be using them again.” (Alex R.)
